Despite their reputation, pigs are not dirty at all. They are – on the contrary – very clean animals. Their reputation of ‘dirty animals’ comes from their habit to roll in the mud to cool off. Pigs that live in a cool and covered environment always stay clean. Wild pigs eat almost everything: leaves, roots, fruit, rodents and even small reptiles.
