Designer Alain Monnens

Alain Monnens °1969, B

Mastered in Product Development at the Media & Design Academy in Genk and obtained through years of experience a solid knowledge in the lighting industry. His creations are the result of a no-nonsense, pure design style. Not adding elements but integration of solutions are primordial to Alain, as "designing" is the art of "cutting out" (leaving out). He won various design awards, such "Henry Van de Velde" Label and several Red Dot Design Awards.

Designer Anita Nevens

Anita Nevens °1968, B

Mastered in Art, Architecture and Design, holds degrees in Sculpture and Interior Design & Scenery. She worked for architects and is currently a furniture designer and lecturer. She has been published in architectural and lifestyle magazines. Participates frequently in design competitions and fairs. Other designs are being edited by Lensvelt.

Designer Axel Enthoven

Industrial designer, founder of Enthoven Associates Design Consultants, an international product design company. Furniture design is one of his favourites, along side working worldwide in transportation design like the tram of Brussels, the Thalys train and the new metro of Jerusalem.

Has a technical degree, worked as a jewellery designer and a furniture restorer before turning to designing and producing furniture. Founded Borja Veciana Furniture. Manages residential and hotel projects. Designs and develops together with his brother Jordi for Wildspirit.

Erik Jansen studied interior architecture at the Utrecht School of Arts. His designs can be characterized as seemingly simple, sober and pure. Running his own design company, he explores the edge of the possibilities of materials.

Designer Gerd Couckhuyt

Gerd Couckhuyt

Gerd followed a pure technical formation in an industrial environment context. Later he got several degrees in art, interior design, light consultant and sculpture art. The combination of his technical background and his feeling for creation and art makes him a more complete designer with not only an eye for the visual aspect but also the technical part.

His inspiration comes from absorption of daily visual and emotional incentives. Designing objects and interiors is not experienced as an assignment according to Gerd, but more like a distillation and fine tuning of ideas already present in his mind.

Designer Michael Bihain

Michael Bihain °1975, B

Studied Interior Design at the St. Luc Institute of Luik (B) and at the University of Hull (UK). After graduating he founded his own studio BihainProd in London. Michael's designs are a symbiosis of contemporary lifestyle and collective memory. A typical characteristic of his research is the obviousness of the lines obtained.

Designer Samuel Chan

Samuel Chan has a Master degree in Furniture Design at Buckinghamshire Chiltern University (UK). Afterwards, he worked for 7 years in hotel interior design. Since 1995, he runs his own design company. Marriott, Hilton, Malmaison/Hotel du Vin Group are some of his clients.

Designer Twan Verlinden

Twan Verlinden °1982, NL

Twan Verlinden studied Interior Design at St Lucas in Boxtel (NL) as well as at the KMH in Mechelen (B). After designing furniture for some well known furniture companies for several years, he founded his own design studio Design by Tuan. In the meantime he designs utensils and furniture pieces for different collections. Clear lines and natural materials are his signature.
